Introducing Scout's Own Maple Syrup

Scout's Own Bottle.png

The Lake Erie Council is excited to introduce the Scout’s Own Maple Syrup program, a new funding opportunity for units!

The Scout’s Own Maple Syrup program started as an idea to utilize our camp's natural resources to create a way for Scouts to fund their outdoor adventures.

Sap harvested from over 7,000 trees at Beaumont Scout Reservation is processed at Bissell Maple Farm to become Scout's Own Maple Syrup.

This spring, Scouts and units have the opportunity to sell Scout's Own Maple Syrup for $12 a bottle to fund their adventures. The unit receives $5 from each bottle sold. You can make an order by the case to get your sale started with the button below!

Blue & Gold Placemats and Camp Promos Available

Lake Erie Council is proud to provide useful decorations for your Pack's celebration. Summer is Coming, and it's time to start thinking about camp plans. Each placemat is packed with information about Adventure Camp, Cub Scout Resident Camp, Webelos Exploration Camp, Family Fun Camp, and Red, White, & Boom! Scouts can color in pictures on the placemats, and complete camping-related activities on them before they bring them home to their parents.

We would also love to be part of your celebrations in person! You can request a summer camp promotion at the same link below. We'll bring the excitement to get your Scouts pumped up for camp, and be available to answer any questions that you may have.

Please request a number for your Pack, and we will provide half in blue and half in gold. Placemats can be picked up at the Unit Service Center in Cleveland, or if you coordinate with your Unit Serving Executive, perhaps dropped off at a more convenient location.

Thank You: Prepared. For Life. Breakfast

As many of us head home for Thanksgiving, allow us to express our sincere gratitude for the support shown at the 2017 Prepared. For Life. Breakfast. Those in attendance saw first hand the fine work Scouting is doing while listening to Eagle Scout Chris Uhran and heard about our vision for Scouting's future from Scout Executive Marc Ryan.

We're proud to report those involved raised $22,930 to assist local Scouting. That means more youth in the program, more service to our community, and more leaders of character for tomorrow's workforce. That's something we can all feel good about.
