Reimagined for Success
Scouting is embarking on a new era of adventure, leadership, and growth. BSA’s quality youth program has been reimagined for the present day, and will thrive through ongoing training, quality service, and successful partnerships..
Be prepared. Scouting, and BSA, is dedicated to helping youth learn, grow, lead, and achieve. The lessons and life skills experienced and learned will prepare boys and girls ages 5-17 for a lifetime of success.
Strength in numbers. Scouts, families, parents, volunteers, leaders, and executive staff will work side-by-side to build, and maintain top-quality Scouting programs for area youth.
Strong units = a strong Scouting program. The Unit-Based Programs model emphasizes a new framework and standards for unit quality and program success while putting youth, including their current and future needs, at the forefront.
A fresh start and a promise. While moving forward towards a brighter, stronger, and healthier Scouting program and units, BSA and its stakeholders, including Scouts, families, parents, volunteers, leaders, and executive staff, promise to endorse and uphold the principles of the Scout Law. A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
