Registrations are now open for this year’s Klondike campouts! January 17th-19th at Beaumont, January 24th-26th at Beaumont, and February 7th-9th at Firelands. Don’t miss out on these fun winter excursions, get signed up today!
Join troop 504 at Solon high school as they host a Patrol first aid meet on February 16th from 1-4pm. The top 3 scoring patrols receive a prize, and all registered scouts will receive lunch and a patch, and patrols are asked to bring a patrol sized first aid kit and an adult for scoring. They’ve also teamed up with the Solon High school drama club to also provide realistic scenarios and special effects makeup. The cost is $15 and can be paid at the door. The 2025 Wood Badge Breakfast is happening on Saturday, March 1st. Come enjoy a wonderful breakfast, fellowship with other Scouters, an auction, and meet the staff for the upcoming course! Early bird pricing is open until February 2nd so register now on the council website you can send questions to Linda Gray.
Disagreements are a natural part of life, even in Scouting. Sometimes, leaders and parents can have disagreements and find it hard to get along. They might need a friendly reminder to be helpful, kind, and cheerful. “Managing Unit Disagreements.” is one of the 57 unique courses offered at this year’s University of Scouting. Learn the best strategies for resolving conflicts in your den, pack, or crew.
