YOUTH CLIMATE INSTITUTE

The Adventure Lab is looking for motivated and passionate youth to become Ambassadors and join their chapter of the Youth Climate Institute.

The Youth Climate Institute educates and certifies the next generation of leaders on climate science, environmental justice and real world solutions.

Youth 13-18 can join for FREE and work towards gaining certification applicable for graduation, resumes, and internships.

Built to be similar to a ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’, participants of the program engage in climate based discussions, a group action project of the student’s choice, and 5 service hours to become a Certified Ambassador. Once that is successfully completed, participants can work towards getting their certification with Honors by completing a Capstone project. Becoming a Certified Ambassador with Honors provides students with additional networking opportunities and career and continuing education benefits.

Work towards becoming a Certified Ambassador can begin the moment you submit an application! The Adventure Lab will provide you with details on getting started, but there is no consistent or major time commitment required (beyond completing the action project and 5 service hours- which can both be done on the student’s time). The Adventure Lab will host once monthly opportunities to engage in discussions and activities related to Climate and Environmental Science, as well as provide resources and mentor guidance as needed.
