Join troop 504 at Solon high school as they host a Patrol first aid meet on February 16th from 1-4pm. The top 3 scoring patrols receive a prize, and all registered scouts will receive lunch and a patch, and patrols are asked to bring a patrol sized first aid kit and an adult for scoring. They’ve also teamed up with the Solon High school drama club to also provide realistic scenarios and special effects makeup. The cost is $15 and can be paid at the door, but registration is still required prior to the event. Any questions contact Tim or Joe. Register now!
The Eagle Scout Class of 2024, Recognition Dinner will be held on Saturday, February 22nd at The Croatian Lodge. Check-in begins at 5pm, dinner starts at 6pm. Register for the event through the link. New this year, we are offering Troop and Family Sponsorships! The multi-level packages include reserved tables as well as Eagle Scout recognition throughout the program booklet and event. The 2025 Wood Badge Breakfast is happening on Saturday, March 1st. Come enjoy a wonderful breakfast, fellowship with other scouters, an auction, and meet the staff for the upcoming course! Early bird pricing is open until February 2nd so register now on the council website you can send questions to Linda Gray.
The Celebration of Scouting is a tribute to the extraordinary dedication of Scout volunteers, like you, who make a lasting impact every day. Join us for an evening of fellowship and inspiring stories as we honor remarkable individuals with prestigious Council-level awards, including the Silver Beaver Award, Distinguished Award of Merit, Unit Scouter Award, Venturing Leader Award, Duty to God Award, and Ben Hauserman Award. The National Jamboree is Scouting’s flagship event is one-of-a-kind. It’s a gathering of tens of thousands of Scouts and leaders that showcases everything that is great about Scouting. It is the adventure of a lifetime. Over the course of 10 summer days in July 2026, Scouting America will gather together at the 10,000-acre Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia. Scouts and Scouters who attend will explore all kinds of adventures—stadium shows, pioneer village, adventure sports and more. Want to learn more? We’re hosting a special session for youth, leaders and parents at this year’s University of Scouting where you can get all the information you need.
