Today’s special edition is coming to you from the incredible Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia, home of the 2026 National Scout Jamboree.
We are thrilled to announce something brand new for the Lake Erie Council, our first ever National Jamboree council shoulder patch set.
Since 2017, when our council was formed, our standard council shoulder patch has featured the three iconic lighthouses of Lake Erie. That patch remains our official CSP, but for the 2026 Jamboree, we wanted to do something special.
So this year, we are excited to introduce a brand new themed set featuring Louie Lakebeast, the legendary Lake Erie monster, and all of his friends.
This adventurous patch series highlights creatures and legends from across Northeast Ohio, with Louie and the gang taking part in a variety of Scouting activities. Each individual CSP features a different character and adventure, creating a unique set that celebrates both our region and the spirit of Scouting.
