Hey everyone, welcome to this week’s 3-minute update. I’m your host Tyler Matthews. Coming to you from Firelands Scout reservation where our amazing Stewards just contributed $34,650 towards projects all around the property. These contributions will have a positive impact on Scouts and youth groups for years to come and we are incredibly grateful. Now, let’s get into this week’s news!
All volunteers are required to take Safeguarding Youth Training on my.scouting.org before May 31, 2026, or their personal training expiration date, whichever is first. Live Safeguarding Youth Training will be held at the Council Service Center on Monday, May 18th 6:30 PM and Saturday, May 30th 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. If you need help with logging in or taking the course, please call the Member Care phone line during these times, or during regular business hours, for assistance. The Member Care line is 216-861-6060.
Registration is still open for this summer’s NYLT at Firelands. The course runs June 7th-12th. Make sure your scouts don’t miss out on one of the best youth leadership trainings they can take. Sign up now!
